I wasnt aware of the £50 surcharge to withdraw an application, so thanks for telling us about that.

It sounds favourable for you and I hope that the mother appreciates that you have stopped proceedings in favour of trying to get some understanding in place between you both. Perhaps she realises that your child needs you to be in his life, after he was asking for you...let's hope it gave her an insight into what the child needs, rather than point scoring over you!
