Is there any point to getting a consent order when it only applies to UK and spouse is resident in Spain
with no intention of returning ?
I can not for example enforce UK law on her maintenance agreement while she is living in Spain
and I don't have the dosh to go to spanish courts.

Both infant children live with myself in UK with my wife's permission.
She lives in Madrid with lover.

Hi Nemeton,

If you contact Child Maintenance Options, you will need to ask about REMO. Its a process where foreign Countries agree to help pursue NRP's who live overseas. Spain is a signatory nation. Thus, you could look to REMO to pursue this.

Please see here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Dl1/Directories/DG_177531

Hope this has been of some help.
