[Solved] Confidentiality - Social Services

Hi All,

I recieved a mail from the assigned social worker who is assigned to my FAO where she said she had spoken with my formers step father about allegations that I had put to the social worker about my former.

She went on to say that m formers step father made alegations about me being aggressive which doesnt compute as I havent seen him in months and only spoken to him on the phone. He is usually difficult however I let it go.

My question is, has the social worker breached my confidentiality by speaking about my allegations to his step daughter with him?

Regards,

Dave

That's a tricky one and I don't know the answer - I would guess that they might have to inform him that an allegation has been made without saying who made it, and he might have assumed it was you.
