Clares law misinformation

Recently I had my partner request a clares law on me to find out what the police have on me or would disclose, she agreed and the police contacted her regarding the disclosure, the conversation was taped and when listening back to it the police have blatantly miss led and miss informed my partner, they disclosed things as fact rather than simply "these are the allegations made" they also stated that there was a non mol against me which isn't true, where do I stand from a legal point of view? Obviously that sort of misinformation is very damaging and surely illegal of some description

I think you should make a formal complaint to the police.  Also, when the police disclose information under Clare's law, the recipient of it must keep it confidential and not disclose it to anyone else.  I believe they sign to confirm this.  There is no way she should have told you what was said.
