I am a non resident Dad, my two daughters live with their mum. Separated 11 years and it has been pretty hellish ever since.
My current conundrum is that my youngest (14) has not been to school in a year and so is not receiving an education. SS involved but are as dire as you can imagine and their Mum doesn't do anything which takes any effort.
I have suggested that our daughter stay with me but obviously I am controlling and aggressive and so neither my daughter or her Mum wants her to sat with me.
I cannot let this continue but I am at a loss as to what I do here. What would i be asking of the court if I were to submit a C100?
All I want is for my daughter to get an education so that she has some opportunity in life.
Id be grateful to get advice or hear from other parents who have dealt with a similar situation.
P.S. Ive been dealing with school, inclusion and SS and they are all as [censored] as each other, how do i get a judge to get them to pull their socks up?
Regards,
Dave
hi,
has the school/local authority not sent fines to mother or you for child missing school? yes you could apply with c100, and explain to the court how the childs education is suffering and better for her to live with you. you would be expected to try mediation first. you are exempt if theres been domestic abuse or child safeguarding concerns.
