Child Maintenance/Child Support Solicitor Recommendation

Morning all,

Can anyone recommend a child maintenance/child support solicitor, (as opposed to a family lawyer) please?

I have a First Tier Tribual Hearing and have just received my Notice of Directions.  I feel I need some help to ensure I am represented correctly.

The Tribunal is an appeal based on diversion of income hence the need for a solicitor with that specific experience.

Thank you in advance.

You might find it easier to have someone near where you live so perhaps you could do a search online?

@champagne Thank you for the suggestion.  My family solicitor advised me to find someone specialist, but a google brings me many results, but no idea if they are any good or not.  I was hoping someone would be able to recommend someone they had used previously?

Hi, I have found this site to have useful info on CMS and appeals process. Think they can help, you can give them a call:

Thanks Bill, I have used them, however, they are not solicitors, so cannot instruct a barrister unless we find a direct access barrister.

We have now worked out a way forward, as we need to prepare for a First Tier Tribunal so quite a specialist niche solicitor and barrister required.

Thanks for the assistance so far.

Can your solicitor try to recommend someone or find out for you? They should have some local contacts I would have thought?

Thanks Yoda.  My family lawyer couldn't recommend anyone, it is rather niche.  He has even referred clients to NACSA after my good words about them.

Thanks for the help anyway.

I have no experience with this site other than knowing they exist, but might be worth looking at www.csahell.com
