I've been on holiday for the past week with my girlfriend and my son..and my sons mum is saying I still need to pay her the child maintenance for this week when I have had him all week with me, does anybody know if I need to still pay her the csa money?
If you have a statutory agreement and use the CSA to administer the maintenance payments then you are still liable for this payment.
If you have a private family based arrangement outside of the CSA then you can negotiate with the mother about the amounts you should pay at times like this.
Bear in mind that the mother has the responsibility to put a roof over your sons head and this also means paying bills which won't necessarily be reduced because your son is away from home for a week.
