Can anyone please advise me on the following?
I have a consent order to make payments for my 2 daughters whilst in education but I lost my job and was unemployed for 15 months. My current wage is 38% less than I was earning when the order was made and I am struggling to make the payments of £450 a month. The order states that I must make periodical payments at the rate of £300 per and as from the date periodical payments to Daughter 1 cease, until Daughter 2 finishes full-time secondary or full-time tertiary education at the end of her first degree course, or attains the age of 21 year, at the rate of £450 per from when Daughter 2 (19 years old) ceases full-time secondary education the payments are to be made directly to her. So I have two questions
1) can the order be change to a more affordable amount as I am struggling to meet this amount every month
2) the money is going back to the mother even though I pay my daughter. She lives in halls of residence and the idea was that this money was to support her through university. I also tried to pay the monthly payment to Daughter 1 whilst she was away at university and she refused to take it so the money was paid direct to the mother which is not what is in the order.
