[Solved] changing a court order regarding travel

I would be inclined to see if it's possible to get the order changed so that she does all of the travelling (though I would defer to Yoda and Mojo's opinion on this) - generally I thought the courts prefer the non-resident parent to do the travelling if there's a long distance involved and if he has given up full time work to care for his daughter, then I would see that as a reason why he's having trouble complying with the original order.

On a separate issue, I would be very concerned about her going to the chip shop on her own, even if it was closer - that's definitely putting her at risk.

Well here we go again, It is now Summer holidays and court states 2 weeks Mum, 2 weeks Dad, then a further 1 week each.
However we meant to be doing pick up in the morning and this was agreed from the start as I am unable to do any later due to a commitment elsewhere. We have just had a message saying that THEY have now got plans, so will not be home till after 4pm.
I was willing to compromise on this and said ok but you will have to bring her back..... To which they replied "No, my son can get the train"
I'm absolutely fuming as am getting nasty messages saying she is not coming home until we can collect. and they will get sister to drop off next week!!! II am getting married on 12th August(next weekend and she is bridesmaid) , so every minute of this next week I am struggling to fit in everything...
I'm sick of this happening every time

I'm so sorry to hear this smallnanny, you've had no let up since the order was made, do you think it's time to apply for a variation of the existing order?

Mojo, we keep dealing with this to no avail, maybe it needs to be done, sometimes it's scary to try to rock the boat, but if you don't, people just take advantage. thank you for your support x
