I am preparing for the 2nd court hearing in the following ways.
1. Evidencing my good parenting skills
2. Refuting my wife's false allegations
3. Evidencing my wife's unstable behaviour.
I can email the statement if anyone can review it and give me advice. I am so worried about this hearing as my wife's allegations make me look like a monster
hi, sent you private message
Top tips for writing a statement for family court or cafcass.
1. Don't waste time writing allegations that you don't have evidence for.
2. If allegations are made against yourself, blanket deny them.
3. If allegations are true, respond to them with as few words as possible. Judges cannot use unproven allegations as a basis for child arrangements.
4. The court is mainly interested in how you can spend time with your child going forward. Therefore focus on getting your life straight and give the court confidence that your home is suitable for a child and that you can reliably do school/nursery runs.
