Who were the statements given to? If they are part of your case, I would say that your lawyer should be able to access all paperwork relevant to the case. It the very least, I would have thought he could request that the court order that the papers are handed to him. Do you not have a copy yourself?
I'm not sure about Scotland but in England, CAFCASS would generally have access to all these types of reports.
