Can my ex move to Portugal permanently with son and only tell me after they have moved?
If this happens what is the process? Can i make an emergency order and will there be any chance of making her move back or at least letting son with me. Say she moved for work.
This hasnt happened but my ex has a Portugese partner now and they have visited Lisbon 6 times this year. Im a tad paranoid.
I know its silly asking about something that hasnt happened but ive been fearful for weeks now. She is capable of leaving and only telling me after she has done it.
It would be good to know the steps.
It is my understanding if you are named on the birth certificate and have equal parental responsibility you need to give written consent if the child is taken out of the country for over 28 days by the other parent.

Even right away on gov.uk it states its child abduction to take a child abroad without the consent of both parents (if both parents have parental rights).
