[Solved] Campaigning Activity and Court

I am a supporter of Extinction Rebellion (XR) and have been on a couple of demonstrations. A major motivation for me is that without proper thought through action on Climate Change, the future will be bleak for my toddler son and his generation. In a sense I am doing it for him.
My aim is to support the protest/ demonstrations/ actions but not to get arrested.
I am on the Local Media and Messaging affinity Group ie facebook so it is quite likely that my ex will get wind of it. Given that she uses EVERY opportunity to defame/ libel me, she is likely to use this to add to her case that I am an irresponsible father who shouldn't see his son more that the paltry 8 hours a week she deigns to allow me; the minimum acceptable to the court.
My question is this. To determine for myself whether I should continue or desist in this activity how would the Family Court, given that it is very conservative and risk averse, likely view it? And how would they view it if I were arrested? I'd like to throw this open for experienced MKFs as well. Many thanks.

I would say that you shouldn't act in any way that could get you arrested, as that would be seen by the court as more serious. I can't see that a peaceful protest should be a problem - that right is enshrined in law, I believe.
