Q. regarding CAFCASS call before Family court fhdra
I received a letter stating 30 min call, but no time or date given
do they call prior and arrange time date for full call? or just expect you to take stop at work, or go through everything on their first call.
They will call you to find out when is convenient for you. At least that's what they did for me.
In my (sons) case, they called and left a message to call back. He called back the CAFCASS officer on their mobile and booked a time that was best for everyone.
The call lasted about 25 mins and was mainly asking if he had an issues with his EX, any safeguarding issues and why he was taking the matter to court.
He kept it very child focused and said he had no safeguarding issues and thought his EX was a good parent. On the other hand his EX went to town and completely tore him down on her phone interview.
My personal advise would be to keep it HONEST without name calling, snide remarks and if that is NOT 100% child focused and does raise a few issues concerning EX, at least you have told the truth from the start,
