[Solved] C79 Form

Hi wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

A bit of background information: I have a son who is of junior school age, me and his mum split around 5 years ago. I have a Child Arrangement Order but his Mum has decided that contact has ended.

I understand that my next route is to fill in a C79 form but obviously this costs and I was wondering if I will actually get anywhere or will it just be a waste of time? Obviously cost is a big issue as I have amassed quite a large chunk of debt already from divorce etc

Any help would be really appreciated

Also as a secondary question can she now report me to the CMS for not seeing my son and get my payments increased even though she is stopping me?

Thanks

hi,

unfortunately if you want to get things sorted out and see your child again, spend £215 on C79 enforcement application. atleast with enforcement, you don't bother applying for mediation sessions and paying more for that. whatever dads mentioned when they do enforcement, is that ex gets a telling off, and order is changed to give you more time/nights with your child.

CMS can be silly at times, and they may well listen to nonsense from your ex and increase your payments. i would focus on enforcement first.

i just had my 4th court hearing in just over a year.
