Hi everyone,
Just after a bit of advice if that's OK, please?

Long story (as they always are) - my brother's ex commenced criminal proceedings against him in October 2017 for alleged harm to their child whilst she was in his care. Once this was instigated, all contact stopped.
My brother complied with the police investigations - whilst this was ongoing, we applied for an enforcement to the contact order as his ex had stopped all contact.
This has been a long and ongoing process, with hearings being adjourned whilst we obtained the outcome from the Crown Prosecution Service on the criminal proceedings. In June 2018, the case was dropped and no further action was taken against my brother (this isn't the first time she has done this to try and stop contact - this is the third time and all previous cases were also no further action).
When this decision had been reached by the CPS, they attended court again and CAFCASS are involved to prepare the usual report. On 09 September 2018 (this was the latest court date), the Judge outlined to the Mother that she must allow contact with their daughter to my mum and dad (the Child's grandparents) - today's date is 12 October 2018 and they have only had 4 hours of contact, despite our attempts to arrange contact. She ignores text messages, calls and when she does reply, she states they are 'too busy'.

The next court hearing date was meant to be on 09 October 2018, but this has now been pushed back to 21 November 2018 as CAFCASS have advised the court that their report will not be ready - this is extremely dissapointing. My brother hasn't seen his daughter for over a year now.

What we want to do is advise the Court of this, and request that an interim child arrangement order is implemented from now until 21 November 2018. Would this be a C2 form?

Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi there

Did the judge make an interim order for contact with the grandparents on September 9th? If there was one drawn up, were there contact days/times specified as a condition?

The C2 form is the form to use for adding another application, or new directions, to existing proceedings.
