Hello I'm applying for parental resposibilty for my and been advised to use c100 by 2 diffrent solisitors but this form looks like child arrangmebts and residence etc I already have contact I just want PR and then I can go to the registry office to change B.C ,the c1 looks more suitable if it's all I'm going for ?
HI There,
.
I think you are possibly right that the C1 is the correct form, though my knowledge isn't as good as others so keep checking back and someone will confirm this for you.
.
GTTS
C1 is the form to apply for a parental responsibility, the C100 is for defining child arrangements for contact and or residence.
If the mother agrees to you being added as the father you can use a Parental Responsibility agreement, this is a form that you would both sign and then take to the Registry Office....much simpler than the court

Lol c1 is a joke no parents name no childs name just answer question 7
Actually that's not the case, I did explain in your previous post about this a couple of days ago .
thank you very much not even a solicitor could answer me properly they kept saying c100 to confuse me lol
Did you read your other thread where I explained about filing out the C1 form? If you only answer Q7 it will get rejected and sent back to you.
yes makes more sense now i was sitting there before wondering how they would get the other partys details plus the current guardian details i.e the grandmother as well as the mothers because mothers in hospital long term and my sons support worker
Unless your contact arrangements are rock solid, it's worth submitting a C100 at the same time to formalise them in an order. That's probably why the solicitors have advised a C100.
I get on with my exs mum really well where my son is currently living me or my mum pick him up every Wed and and overnight Fri to sat is it worth doing a c100 will the court look at what's in place and ongoing I'm worried they will give me less time than we are sorting arselfs because of his age (9months)
Really don't want visitation times because my shifts change every single week but atleast If we can pick him up/overnights then I believe my mum can be there at handovers just incase I'm working
