At what age do you stop paying Child support? My daughter goes to University ( Living on campus ) but my ex-wife says my payments should continue. I would sooner give the money to my daughter as she will need it for lodgings and food.
I thought it was when they were 18 or leave full-time education. However, I would of thought that if she is moving out to go to Uni that your ex is no longer responsible for her & you may not have to pay her the payments any more. I may be wrong!
Yep, SC is quite correct - you pay until the age of 19 until a child leaves education - ie school, sixth form. If she is about to go to university, I think you have to continue paying until September if you are paying through the CSA.
