You could send a formal letter to Cafcass asking for a response, and if not satisfied, you can follow their complaint procedure. The other option is to raise it at court and ask for it to form part of any interim orders?

Howdy 1234homeland,

I know this is easier said than done - but keep charting the course, and as best you can, keep your spirits high for you and your child.

100% agree with Yoda re: getting an official letter in when needed (even do recorded delivery if you can and keep the receipt for court etc).

If you feel it is appropriate based on your own circumstance, you may just want to put a short message first to your assigned CAFCASS officer along the lines of:

'I appreciate you may be busy and working on other cases, but just wanted to know what is the right amount of contact for you - I would hate to bombard you with messages for updates, so if we can agree on a schedule it may help us both. If it helps, I have a suggestion of XXXXX but let me know if we need to increase/reduce that amount'.

Something like this will remind CAFCASS of your concern without being critical of their role.

Whilst CAFCASS do not have the final say, my experience personally has been that the court does place emphasis on their reports etc. so if you can come across wherever possible as a concerned but reasonable, caring parent this will all help.

Hope it all goes well mate.
Concerned Daddy.
