Hello!
I need to take the time to write up a proper thread, as my situation is fairly complicated, but I wondered if somebody could please help with a very quick question. My ex has applied for an (ex-parte) NMO. At the return hearing the judge decided to combine the case with any other child arrangements proceedings. I have now been sent a date for the next hearing, which is an 'allocation hearing'. I've emailed the court for clarification on what this is, and they responded saying they weren't legally qualified and couldn't provide any advice!
I know what the words mean, but could anyone give me an idea of what happens at this hearing, and if there's any way I can prepare, or is it just a case of turning up and hoping for the best?
Thanks
hi,
can you please check the court paperwork. usually they are very specific and it would state if you need to attend the hearing or not. feel free to private message me if you need help.
there's some good info here: https://childlawadvice.org.uk/information-pages/hearings-in-the-family-court/
