[Solved] Alcohol Test

Hi

as some may know I am currently going through court for a residency order for my son.
His mother does not want to care for him so I am up in court against his grandmother whos admitted to historic drinking and taking cocaine.
I had to pay for a alcohol test and just had results back.

Etg cut off 30.... Concentration 48
FAEE .... Negative

it says drink has been used but unable to say if chronic or excessive or if used socially.
I have attahed a chart which shows anything over 30 strongly suggests chronic use.

Anybody know what this will mean in court?
Does this show a risk or was it a pointless excercise

Hi there

According to your chart, she is a current drinker as opposed to an historic one! Have you been asked to provide a statement? Have you been asked to file the results with the court? I would try and get the chart filed too, courts aren't automatically conversant with limits and what they mean. I would be pushing the point that she is still drinking, and at the very least, her readings show that she is still drinking regularly. Whether this will be enough to concern the court is difficult to predict, it's up to you to push the facts and voice your concerns now that you have evidence to show that she still drinks.

Where did you get the chart and is it from a reputable source?
