Hello everyone,

hope you are all well?

Has anyone filled in a C100 form? Most of it is fine but section 7. Called - Why are you making the application. Males me think that I have to be objective and not emotional. Has anyone have any examples that I could use please?

Kind regards, John.

Hi , you can put your reply on a separate piece of paper , on the section7 write in there please find enclosed separate sheet attached
On top of the separate paper write your name your ex name your Childs name and what its for.
You don’t have to write the whole story more of your situation, and what you are applying for , for example explain what contact you have or have had explain what you want the court to do, as in extend contact to over night stays , holidays Christmas Birthdays . Make sure you put on the form what you are appyling for, as in contact, residency etc. You have to send it to the court nearest your child this is where it will be heard. you have to fill in the fm1 form with regards mediation . Are you going for a pr ? you can do this at the same time this will save you £200 as doing it seperate cost £200 each but £200 together

Hi there and welcome 🙂

Have you found the sticky which is located at the top of the Legal Eagle section? Its called "Contact Order C100 Guide" and is full of really useful information about how to fill in the form in a step-by step format.

I think you are right to try and remain objective in your summation, and mudslinging is definately a no-no. If you approach it from the standpoint of what is in the best interests of the child/children then you cant go far wrong. The court arnt interested in how it affects you or the other parent, their primary concern lies exclusively with the children and their well being. You need to present yourself in a calm and measured way always!

Hi,

I agree, keep that section factual, only give a brief outline don't go into too much detail as it isn't needed at this stage.
