Hi just wanted to know if anyone on here has been to court the second time after getting a contact order and the mother failing to stick by it?
What are the possible outcomes?
And what is classed as a good enough reason?

Hi there, you might be better posting this in the Legal Eagle section as it will get more responses.

Have a good look through the posts on there, there's been quite a few with the same topic recently.

If your ex is breaking the terms of the order, ie refusing to allow contact, making unnecessary changes without offering alternatives etc. You would need the C79 form to apply for enforcement of an order and you would need to show the court that you have made attempts to resolve any issues yourself before applying.

Good luck 🙂

Hi there,

I've moved this to the legal section for you.

As already said though you can apply to the courts for an enforcement order though I would consider by how much the order has been broken and decide if it would be considered acceptable by the judge.

I would post the issues and we can give you an oppinion.

Hi davedad,

Looks like we are here at the same time, just deleted your other post in the legal section as I moved this thread already.

With regards to getting a solicitor now, it is never too late to get one but I would consider if you need one?

What issues do you havethat you feel a solicitor would be needed for?

Hi thanks for listening and giving your opinion. She has stopped contact for no reason I have txts messages saying if you want to see your son take me to court she said she has a new bf and she made up false things like I have cut a chunk out of his hair which is ridiculous tbh as I didn't and not allowed to take him for a haircut. Also she says their in Wales a lot of the time. Not seen him for a good month now so this is the best route

Definitely the best route, so sorry to hear that. What is wrong with people? Hope you get a hearing quickly.....She won't do herself any favours with that behaviour. Good luck 🙂

Thanks but I'm prepared for her to say anything. Sent the enforcement forms off Thursday so hoping I get a court date by end of the week. Would me having a solicitor at the hearing better you think?

Also on the contact order there is no attachment for a warning notice if the court order is beached. March 2014 was when I got the contact order

All contact order automatically have a warning notice attached, this has been the rule since 2008.
