I’m applying for an urgent c100 and C1A due to mums relapse of alcohol and drugs. I’ve heard a lot about gatekeeping now?
im just worried if i ask for a hair stand test in the C1A and it goes through gatekeeping and isn’t heard for a while then mum will just go sober as she’s had a heads up. Do I wait and hope i has a hearing in the next 2 weeks and then ask on the position statement, or ask the court on the application to request one?
I can’t afford to pay more than a 4 month one.
Any advice would be appreciated!
What contact do you get at moment? How many nights do you have every 4 weeks ?Unless any professionals been involved its not likely you will get a hearing for 5-6 weeks at earliest.
@warwickshire1 I have 4 nights a week, school have flagged up concerns about her behaviour and mum has not sent the blood tests as per court order this month.
with you having children 4 nights a week you will get a lot further in family courts than a dad with limited contact. Have you stopped contact? You could reduce it if you havent until u get a court hearing.
