Good evening
Can someone please advise whether it is possible to request an addendum children's services assessment from Court at the pre trial hearing? They have failed to include some evidence, made many mistakes in the assessment, completely ignored childs wishes and feelings with regards to contact, Child said she wants 50 50 and they recommended for the order to remain the same (every other weekend) without any explanation or reasoning behind it. The social worker actually apologised for the Assessment and said the new assessment, if requested, would look completely different. How can I request the Judge for the new assessment please?
Thank you
hi,
do you know if Cafcass person will be present for your next hearing? usually they make recommendations to the court if another report needs to be done. at the hearing you can ask for a new assessment, but I think it would be up to them to decide if it's necessary. you can take a position statement to next hearing, and write about the situation and request new assessment.
