I'm just wondering if anyone knows please what is the acceptable terminology to use in the court room with the Judge about the child/ren being used as a tool against you? my understanding is tool/pawn/weapon is unacceptable ??
Thanks.
I am concerned with the ongoing emotional abuse of the children and that they are being exploited as a vehicle to prevent contact rather than facilitating contact in their best interests.
Hi Jasey,
I agree the tool or weapon wouldn't be the best term to use, I wouldn't put a label on it, but explain the issues to the judge and simply explain that you feel that because of the issues between you and the mother the children are caught in the middle and the mother seems to do her best to make things difficult, The judge will get the whole weapon thing as they see it every day.
