[Solved] About family court drug testing

Hey all, I have a childrens hearing coming up and CAFCASS suggests that the court "will need to consider whether" I the Dad give undertakings that I won't use cannabis in front of my kids ( I never have anyway) but have vaped small amounts of ground weed regularly in the evenings for the past years.  I stopped mid-August as soon as I realised that CAFCASS suggested this in their report (and am 100% confident that I can stay the course).  The hearing is on 2nd Sept.  Am concerned tho that the court is likely to order testing.

What are my best options here?  Should I consider admitting usage up front and hope that the court would see this as a positive thing and say that I am happy to do testing going forward?  Or get tested beforehand to see how much I have in my system and to what degree usage is likely to show?  If it's the latter maybe I could admit I used but limited to sporadic social gatherings and that I've stopped anyway.

I will discuss with my solicitor anyway, but wanted to get the advice of experienced members here.

Many thanks!!

@mr_majestic hi, i think better to give undertaking to not smoke when child in your care. And that way hopefully you avoid testing that can cost over £1000.
