Could someone please let me know if its possible to recoup a large amount of money, in 2007 i recieved money when i left my employer after 22 years this money was used to clear the debts and the majority of the morgage at this time, now my wife has left the marital home and is going for a divorce. is there any way of getting any of this back. thanks for looking

You need to speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau or a divorce lawyer, but I don't think you can get that money back - the best chance you have may be to argue for a larger proportion of the equity in the house, but there's no guarantee you'll succeed.
