So an update this morning.

I have completed a document listing the reasons why I do not want them to move and the impact it will have on them both.

the school meeting has been errr. well the lady called and said they can't really say if they think that they should go or not.

she did say however that she has looked through both of their school reports for last year and they are both doing extremely well. and have settled into this years classes too.

with this moving to Scotland being another country? how does that work will I still need to seek legal advice to stop her etc?

this is all great stuff by the way and a massive help thank you

another update

she has now informed me that she has had some legal advice and she can take the kids to Scotland without my consent??? i haven't asked her or replied to the text. because she has had them for the last four years she doesn't need permission? even though I've had them every fortnight and every thurs.

what isn't helping is the solicitor is not calling me back!
and she keeps asking them to choose!!!

i feel like i have a little dog biting my ankles and i can't do anything about it, I am having a bad day.

I know how hard this must be for you but you will feel better when you get going on this, it's better if you take control of this situation now and get mediation underway. You need to book a MIAM with the mediator, if she then refuses to attend or it fails, the mediators will sign off the C100 form to enable you to apply to the court for a Prohibited Steps Order. This will cost you £215 but if you are on benefits or a low wage you can claim an exemption from the court fee.the form you would need for this is the EX160a.

So I have an update.

had a phone call last night and they have a house they are moving into on 23rd November.

Summer has turns into 6 WEEKS!!!!

I am seeing a Solicitor tomorrow then of to Parents Evening.

She seems to think taking our oldest out of his last year at Primary School into the 'Best School in Dundee' is acceptable. it clearly will make it difficult for him to make new friends and then move onto another school in the new year.
