[Solved] 2 court cases

Hi all,

I'm looking at going through a divorce in April, it's no big deal, we agreed everything and signed it all ourselves, we are still friends and see each other for catch ups. My question is that if my case over access goes to court and they see that I am also divorcing (the child I had a kid with was the lady I met after my wife left me) Would this be looked upon as bad? Should I wait till I see how the access goes and then file for divorce?

Thanks in advance,

TheDaddy

I cant see it as being relevant,

You're party A divorcing party B
Party A is also having access difficulties with party C

TBH being friendly with party B probably makes you 'look' better!

Ok thanks, we don't need to attend court for the divorce I don't think as like I say we have everything sorted. We just need it sent in and completed. Thats fine then, I shall get that sent in in April as arranged.

Out of curiosity, what grounds are you going for with the divorce - I get the impression that if it's unreasonable behaviour, but you are being reasonable, then they will reject the application (thought they'll keep your £400+ fee) and you have to apply again.
