[Solved] working tax credits

Hello just a quick question about working tax credits, am 23 working 25-30 hours have 2 kids 2 different people sounds bad 🙁 ages. (1), (4), get them both 3 days/night's a week, am I eligible for working tax credits so means I could cut my hours down abit and spend more time with my kids. Thanks

Hi there

I don't think you're eligible as I think the children have to be living with you....it may be tied into being in receipt of child benefit, which I'm pretty sure the mothers will be claiming.

You could give the Tax Credits helpline a call on -

0345 300 3900

Or contact your local CAB office and they would be able to give you a definite answer.
