[Solved] Service Disablement /War pension and Child Support

Hi all,
New to this and after some advice.

I receive a tax free military pension for damage done to my legs a number of years ago.
This is tax free.
I also work full time in a salaried position with a basic of 54k.
Ghis may sound a lot but with a family this dosnt go far.

I have a son who I pay for but do not see for various reasons.
I have a private agreement with his mother which I pay every month.

Recently I have looked online and went through the csa calculator and as soon as I add that I receive a military disablement pension my payments drop down.

I have also read that my income would then be taken into consideration via a variation.

I'm trying to look at the best options for us all.
What percentage would they tale from me as I do not think they will stop at the £5 a week that the csa calculator states.
Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi There,
.
I would imagine that when you add your pension into the calculator that it makes an ussumption that it is your only income and sets you onto a minimum payment of £5 per week, and I don't think they would accept that if you went through CSA/CMS as they would look at your income of 54K per year and base your payments on this, they may also take your pension into account and add a percentage from that to what you pay though not sure on how they act on pensions.
.
I don't think there is any way when your earning 54K a year that they would set your payments at £5 a week though.
