Hi

New here. Thanks for everyone's support.

Does anyone know if a respondent (ex-wife divorced me) can initiate a financial consent order?

There is a guide to sorting out finances on the advicenow.org.uk website which will give a lot of info.  Yes, either party can apply for a financial order.

You could also try mediation which will probably b cheaper and  quicker than using solicitors and going through the court process.  Find a mediator through the Family Mediator Assoc or the Family Mediation Service.  There are mediators specialising in financial matters.
