[Solved] Residency and child benefit

Looking for advice. Mother walked out two years ago after a string of affairs on her part. Due to my son going to school, ive had to drop down in my job and wages to be able to take him to and from school. I’m currently applying for child benefit, in order to make ends meet. We have shared custody of our son, and he spends 50/50 at each house.
My question is, just because she has moved home to her parents, surly his address stays as mine? And also, can she change his address without my knowledge or approval, as something like that must need both parents with parental responsibility agreement?

If you are taking him to school and looking after him, then I would say that you have a good case to look for going for a child arrangement order to say that he resides with you.
