So I have 4 children with my ex 1 of which has possible adhd, he is on the nhs waiting list even tho the school say he is doing really well in school and there are no issues so it isn’t affecting him, their mum has decided to take him private.
she is now saying she is taking me to court to pay half of the private fees and private prescription fees even tho I feel waiting for the nhs would be more beneficial.
Can she do this and is it likely that I’d have to pay even tho it’s her choice to do it?
thanks
Hi, if school saying child is doing well and not on their register for special needs, you could argue this if she takes you to court. Could also mention that you are struggling with this cost of living crisis and you can not afford to pay for private treatment.
