[Solved] Old and new

I split amicably with my ex and monies for children and child care etc was easily sorted between us. Now in a new relationship and I cannot believe or understand the hostile treatment my new partner is receiving. Her ex is acting like the one hard done by but it was him who strayed. His wages probably equal mine and my partners together plus his partner also has a well paid job.
He pays nothing for school trips or for uni fees or living costs for the oldest or youngest.
He has just started paying a lot less so I am assuming he has just increased his pension fund.
But the bit I don't get is that his payments to my partner are based on his net wage whilst my partners payments to him for their son who has just moved to live with is based on her GROSS income. How unjust is this!
Is this correct? when will it be sorted (we are told there are two different systems) and will she be entitled to back pay when it is sorted.
We don't tell her kids about any of this but it kills me as they think the sun shines out of his ####.

Hi

It sounds like one is on CMS (new system, based on gross) and the other is the CSA (net income) - the percentages are different, with the gross being a lower percentage. There is no back calculation between the two when switching, the figures are based on the current assessment.

Hi There,
.
As actd has said the percentage that they use between the older CSA system and the newer CMS system are different, so they would acually amount to about the same in the end, All CSA cases are in the proccess of being transfered accross to CMS so the what they pay each other percentage wise will fall in line.
