I received a message last week from the legal aid agency confirming I am eligible for legal aid. I also qualified for legal aid for my housing situation but when I was speaking to them they said there is a limit of £150!
Does anyone know if there is a financial limit on the legal aid I can receive for family matters - ie taking my ex partner to court?

Yes I believe some awards do carry a limit, it should make mention of it on the paperwork, but if not then your solicitor should be able to tell you.
