Have had 2.5 years in and out of court about access to my children, ex partner got legal aid I did not know why. Today I have been informed she has got legal aid for financial matters with me. I have just tried but can not even though I receive job seekers allowance. When will it end ? Completely unfair that I now have to fight solicitors and barristers yet again
...I would have thought that the two matters were separate and she could only have used a funded solicitor for the financial side of things. You could contact the Legal Aid Agency. And ask if this iis right as you have been denied LA even though you are on JSA.
You'll find contact details here, just scroll down the page.
