Hi All
I am the classic situation where I will most likely move out and pay maintenance; therefore will be looking to find a new home...
Would prefer to buy if I could afford it rather than rent as its dead money; I think the only way I could make it happen without moving to lands-end is if I could avail of the help to buy schemes by the government. I note it says there for first time buyers and people moving to new homes only...
Just wondered if anyone has found any workarounds or ways to leverage it ?
Thanks
Not something I'd deal with to be honest
Hi There,
.
We had looked into help to buy a last year, we weren't able to proceed at that time due to only my wife being able to gain a mortgage.
.
From looking into things you do need to be a first time buyer and not to have had owned or part owned a house before.
