I am 46, she is 36, house is on my name , she never contributed. I earn 60k, she is on benefits, full cms. She is asking 70/30. Due to medical conditions i might not get mortgage and maybe my future job will be effected. I have loan from friend of 30K all transactions are recorded, made agreement but after separation. She refused all of them . She is in temporary accommodation and claiming DV against me. Children are living with her full time and this case is in court feom two years. What would be best option to make clean divorce.
I would like to offer 50/50 after paying loan and agreed on lumpsum payment. Please advise how can I prove medical disability and this soft loan. Thanks
hi,
you could get a letter from GP about disability, or claim a disability benefit and get letter as proof. for loan you can print bank statements?
@bill337 Thanks. Yes I can apply as I am eligible. If I will go out of court settlement what would be suitable settlement as her solicitor send me negotiation letter with 70/30 of equity after sell the house. They didn't consider loan as they're saying there is no sufficient evidence. I have an agreement of this loan so what else I can provide? Thanks
