[Solved] Ex wife remarrying and CM

My ex wife has remarried to a wealthy chap and now lives in his house. She sold the family home I transferred to her and so has 160k from that in the bank. Our daughter is 14 and lives with me. My ex has advised that given her new circumstances she no longer has to work and, as such, will not be paying any child maintenance as she does not have to, having no earned income. Is this the case?

hi,

if she is not working and income is 0, then CMS will not expect her to pay anything. if she has savings, the 160k or a pension, then CMS may look into that and ask her to pay an amount.
