Hi,
I currently work 25hrs a week after having to reduce hours to allow me to see my daughter (my ex partner only propsed times when she knew I was working. My lawyer advised I take it)
After I have paid CSA, I am left with approx £550 net pay :boohoo:
A colleague of mine said I may be entitled to working Tax Credit....
At present, I only get my daughter 1 saturday a month after previously having her two nights a week.
any advice on this greatly appreciated as I am strugggling really bad financialy now
Hi there,
Unfortunately you won't be entitled to working tax credit as your daughter isn't resident with you. Have you checked that you are not overpaying maintenance? This can be checked by using the CSA calculator. I don't have a link but you can google it quite esily.
Is there any threshold at all??
I.e: if I had my daughter 2 nights a week?
I think it's all or nothing I'm afraid - the best people to ask are Inland Revenue - they have a helpline which will hopefully get you the answer.
I agree with what he says. Have you ever went into financial adviser?
