[Solved] Decree absolute without financial agreement

Hi this is my first time asking a question so me and my ex wife separated in July 2019 she was having an affair and wanted me out. Anyway she applied for the decree nisi and wanted the matrimonial home theres £60,000 in equity plus £10,000 up in valuation I said "let's negotiate as I paid the depoist and paid mortgage for 4 years" she refused. So I wrote to the courts saying "Please don't issue decree absolute until the financial settlement issues are resolved as I have wrote to my wife and her solicitor but to no avail" but she was granted the decree absolute. Can I appeal or what steps should I take

This is a complex area of law.. Have you sought legal advice? We're you represented?

I would consider contacting a couple of solicitors and using the free 30 mins they give to get a general overview re appeal and chances etc...

Its unusual for a divorce to be agreed without sorting the financial order but every situation is different or has its own complexities and therefore it is difficult to advise on your original question..
