Saw something on Twitter today about the numbers of folk haven't claimed their £250 trust fund monies. If you haven't heard about it this is from their website:

Child Trust Fund (CTF) is a savings and investment account for children. Children born on or after 1 September 2002 will receive a £250 voucher to start their account. The account belongs to the child and can't be touched until they turn 18, so that children have some money behind them to start their adult life.

if you are entitled I suggest claiming it now, as with the election looming who knows what might happen to the scheme after May 6th, ESP if a different colour of government gets in..... (I know, I know - politics on Dadtalk?? - whatever next!!)
