Hello all, newbie here, I will start with a simple pension related question...

Married for 4 years
Overall CETV from 25 years of employment - 150K
Pension Accrued during marriage - 25K

Ex demanding half of pension. Can you tell what she might get going thru the court as mediation has failed. Thanks

Ex works full time and gets child benefit etc.

Hi There,

You would need to negotiate but in theory she could get 50% of your total pension pot.

That said you would also be entitled to 50% of hers, a lot of the time what can be a compromise is that she would take an amount of your pension that would boost hers to a similar level to yours if her pot is smaller.
