Recently been reintroduced to my daughter after a long time of not seeing her due to ill feeling with the ex partner.
My daughter is currently under a child protection order.
Social services want me to have involvement with my daughter.
Iv been with my new partner for many years now.
Would social services need to due any background checks on her.
If this is posted in wrong place admin, then please love to correct place

You must be really pleased to be back in your child’s life again, children need both parents in their lives if at all possible.
I think they have to ask permission from the person they wish to do a background check on, But not 100% on that.
You could try calling the Family Rights Group, they are experienced with supporting families who are involved with Social Services. Here’s a link to their website
