A freind of mine is having an issue maybe someone can help with. They have been to court got indirect access, not allowed to appeal, is there a time frame for restarting the court process?

I think it depends on the reasons for indirect contact only. It’s generally a good idea to leave it for around 6months...

If the indirect contact is going well and progress is being made, then perhaps it could be returned a little sooner.

At what appears to be a final hearing, its always a good idea to ask the court to leave the case open Somthat it can be bought back for a review after six months.

Your friend could also try writing to the court after a period of time and ask if the case may be bought back to consider progressing contact, the judge has the discretion to return it, but may advise to submit form C2 to bring the case back. Some court offices may require a fresh C100 application, so it’s always best to ask.
