Hi dads.
We’re working on a series of content with additional needs parents, Mark Arnold: https://dad.info/article/additional-needs-parenting-all-you-need-is-love. One of the topics will be on a FAQs segment on parenting and caring for a child with special needs…
We would love for you to ask any questions you may have about being an additional needs parent, specifically, an additional needs dad. Ask Mark anything you want. There is no wrong question and you can be as honest as you want to be. You might want to ask about gender pressure or expectations for men to handle these types of issues in a certain way, or you might want to focus on more practical issues like handling day-to-day stresses, pressures and aspects of parenting a child with special needs.
The aim is to offer support, as well as to inspire dads who identify as an additional needs parent.
Over to you, dads…
