I'm sure it would have been more cathartic to take a hammer to the laptop.

I would have thought that selling it on ebay would have been even more annoying, not only would she not have the laptop, but she'd have the knowledge that he got some money for it.

It is sort of amusing, but somehow I find it quite disturbing - with an attitude like that, you have to wonder what sort of lessons he's taught her about a normal standard of behaviour, and what lesson she's going to learn from this.

I sometimes wonder about the validity of these things - think it may have been someone looking for their 15 minutes of fame!!
