New NHS online service called Baby Life Check. The blurb from the NHS says "If your baby is aged between 5 & 8 Months, find out how your doing". Might be a useful online tool.
If you try it - let the rest of the community know what you think of it.
Gooner
This is right up my street so I had a go. It was very straight forward and took a good 10 minutes.
The questions had a bit of info along with them and that made it more interesting for me.
There was even one section about being a Father....
Being a father
Becoming a father changes your life and your relationships. It can be wonderful but is often hard work. How you feel affects you and your baby.
Did you know?
Research shows that dads are as important as mums – Dads matter.
How do you feel about being a father?
- I love being a dad and feel it is going well
- I enjoy being a dad but sometimes it makes me stressed
- I have no-one to turn to for advice or to support me
- I'm worried about my relationship with my partner
- I'm worried about money
- I feel down a lot of the time
- I am worried about violence in my home
Here's a picture they used
They helpfully pointed towards the "Birth to Five" booklet which our health visitor gave to us - that has really good info in it and is easy to read. The 2009 version can be downloaded via a link they provide.
